Recently concluded a Faculty Development Program at one of the growing Management Institution at Rajkot - Knowledge Gurukul Institute of Business Management.
This program was fundamental in nature and focused on the Key attributes to deliver not only the quality education but also focused on how one can enable students to think proactively. In an era of traditional education system which works on Punishment and Rewards, how we can inculcate 21st century's learning system of CONNECTING and Building better relationships with 21st century students.
Today's students are smart, intelligent (don't compare intelligence with marks), they are far better in terms of Social Relationship, on an average they spend 16 hrs per week on social networking websites, they are fluent in sending SMS, they use internet very often, they believe that its easy to approach Google rather than a faculty....As a faculty you are dealing with these students, so age old methods wont work... a Paradigm shift is needed. During the interaction with faculty, I got an opportunity to discuss some of the tools and techniques
